January 10, 2025 - Repenting In a Winter-Wonder Land I admit, I say this all the time. Repent now. Back in the day, if you lived in or near a urban(city) area. You would see a man or woman on any street corner of America, with their hand made signs, that read: Repent Now! The End is Near! Wonder where they are now?
Most people, really have no clue what real repentance is. I finally found out myself and how to implement it properly. So, here I am. I will describe it to you. No seminary school teaching here, my dear. If the churches really wanted us Believers, to know this, they would have taught this long time ago and a continuation of it, every service, but to no avail(not all churches, but most).
Boomers, were taught this, so you should have taught this to your children(great job for those who did); but those of us who are younger and haven't been taught this properly. Side note, in light of those who have recently lost their houses(in parts of California, now the Bronx at the writing of this blog post) my deepest sympathies, but not all houses burned.

The few houses, that were un-touched divinely, I know has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. By faith, prayers and repentance, He covered them. The great failing away, has commencement(click the link to dive deeper on this topic).
As most people have been to church once or twice in their life, yeah I said it. Believers, who go to church nowadays(most churches, not all) are so dead, they make the walking dead seem alive. Due to your still sitting in a dead church, that isn't fulling you up with the words of YAH(God). I'm cutting up, just like this year is. Buckle Up Buttercups.
Of course, Sister Celestial has a full playlist on repentance here in snippets that you can digest easily. A lot of yous'(what's up South Philly) have got to go back to repentance. Wikipedia had the best definition, for it that I found: "Repentance is reviewing one's actions and feeling contrition or regret for past or present wrongdoings, which is accompanied by commitment to actual actions." It's better to repent daily, so at least on judgement day, you'll have some receipts and the records show that you tried to. No seriously. You have to repent or you will get denied.
Never knowing, when Yahweh will turn off the lights. So sing the Repentance song. Paul spoke of repentance in this way:
"For godly grief produces a repentance that leads to salvation without regret, whereas worldly grief produces death. For see what earnestness this godly grief has produced in you, but also what eagerness to clear yourselves, what indignation, what fear, what longing, what zeal, what punishment! At every point you have proved yourselves innocent in the matter." 2 Corinthians 7:10-11 ESV
Continue reading from 2 Corinthians 7:5-13, for the fullest understanding. Moreover, you must acknowledge the sin; admit you have done the sin(s); declare not to repeat it again and put it in your hearts; and minds not to do the sin(s) anymore.
Most of us say, we are sorry by crying to the Lord and that's okay; to do too, but that's not repentance. If you read 1 John 1:9 KJV it does says:
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
So people think, that's basically, all I have to do. Then I'll be covered. But if you have confessed of the sin(s); then turn around from it; then days, weeks or months later look, your back doing the same sin(s) again. Your more like a Furby baby (a toy back in the 90's see photo below), stuck on saying and doing the same sin(s) "again and again". Needing to repent again and again, too.

We must be lead and feed by the Holy Spirit with conviction in all things. Feeding on the words of the Holy Scriptures. Which brings me to this verse:
