The Lifetime Achievement (SAG)Award Goes To Ernest Borgnine

Ernest Borgnine was awarded the Lifetime Achievement award by SAG at their 17th Annual gala. SAG stands for Screen Actors Guild ( i.e. Union Actors). For most younger folks the most recent film he just stared in was “RED”.  Tim Connelly who presented the award to Mr. Borgnine, joking referred to him starting in the new AARP film. It was just recently released on DVD. It’s now available on Apple TV and Netflix.   I will be ordering it soon! Click here for the trailer of RED.

Congratulations and many thanks for a human called Ernest Borgnine. Glory be to God. I have always had an older person though out my life. Who has, always help make me laugh, on my journey called "life"; (funny thing, they all know Jesus and most are still alive today, Amen). Well, Mr. Borgnine, you are included in this group. Especially whenever I watched McHale’s Navy. 

Ernest Borgnine has acted in over 160 films. He was encouraged by his mother to act. After returning from serving in the Navy for over ten years.  Side note; I just found out he has personally visited every Veteran’s Hospital in the United States of American.

My favorite role beside McHale’s Navy was his role in the film “Escape for New York City”. Remember? Circa 1981. He was the Taxi Driver. Click here for the trailer if your memory is fading.

Ernie still acting at 94 and entertaining us all.  God will give you a long and happy life too!  Happy belated Birthday Ernie and thanks for your acting skills, the many memories you have given and continue to give us all.  Amen.

The State of the Union Address 2011

This is why I voted for change. I am speaking of the speech that our President Obama give tonight. You might not have seen the entire speech. So click here. I can certainly tell you the reason that I started blogging and commenting and speaking out to the world, and those in the world that read my blog, that is. :)

Due to the 44th President. I have worked on Campaign for Change(2007-2008), Bennett for Colorado(2010) and since I was 13, I have always been down for fighting for the people. I started and particularly named my blog after the 44th President (see above), the subtitle that it. Jesus Christ is the love of my life, so he with always reign Supreme UNO!!! What? You Don't Know!? So that’s why the 44th President came in second for the subtitle.

To all of my bloggers, no matter what ever it is that motivates you. Get on with it already. The world awaits. One more thing, I see the sitting arrangement tend to work out better then some of you had thought. Wink.

God calls Fitness Pioneer Jack La Lanne home(Heaven)

On January 23, 2011, Jack LaLanne went to be with the Lord. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Jack pioneer fitness and took it to a whole another level. Honestly, even until he took he last breath Jack was in marvelous shape even at 96. If you really have tried to get in shape and stay in shape. You know Jack was always there to courage you to start. One of his favorite lines was..."The only way you can hurt the body is not use it," LaLanne said. "Inactivity is the killer and, remember, it's never too late."

Thanks, Jack for being you! Those of us who know the Lord Jesus Christ, we will see you again and very soon!

Peace Corps Founder, Sargent Shriver 1915-2011

Today, we lost another strong solider off the earth who fought for the poor with his war on poverty during, Lyndon B Johnson administration. He founded Peace Corps that help spread the word, to help thoses in needs and his program still helps millions today. This is Maria Shriver's father(Arnold Schwarzenegger's wife). They don't make men like this anymore. I know he was a God fearing man. Glory Be to God. For those of us who know and has taken the Lord Jesus Christ as their savior. We will see and be with each other in Heaven very soon.

Thank you, Dr. Martin Luther King For Your Dream

Today is the 25th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King day. I thank him for having a Dream and facing the challenges he faced so that one day like today, we could come together and live together with respect and love for one another. I know we still have a long way to go. Today activities around the nation show there are those of us who still hold his dream and who has made his dream as a reality. On how we should treat one another. So check your Content of your character. To truly see, are you living the dream?  If not, why not? Today is a good day to check yourself and make it a Reality.

Brazil's Floods and Mud

I normally don't blog on Sundays, for it's the Lord's Day and the Sabbath is meant for us to rest. Once again my prayers go out to my brothers and sisters in Brazil with the recent floods. As I spoke to God for Australia, Haiti and now Brazil. Now is the time to take the Lord God as your Lord and savior. Brazil you have known God before, so it's time to come back home. God is still on the throne and he is nigh. Jesus is at the door.

Be Blessed and not stressed. For these are the beginning of all sorrows. Refer to Matthew 24, New Testament(NKJV).

Haiti...One Year Later

Oh Dear Haiti, as the days go by. We continue to pray for you and for thoses of you who called on the name of the Lord Jesus and who were Saved. 16 Days later a 17 year old Girl was found ALIVE.  

Our Father God is still in the miracle business! Glory be to God!

These Haiti Earthquake Facts were compiled shortly after the earthquake. See below for a more recent update to the facts.

• This was a 7.0 magnitude earthquake .
• The USGS says this was the strongest earthquake to hit the area that is now known as Haiti since 1770.
• 61 reported dead and 180 people unaccounted for, mostly Haitian national staff according to UN numbers. (It is my opinion this number is way too low.)
• Porte-au-Prince's population is 2,000,000
• The Haitian government estimates 200,000 have died as a result of this sad incident. 1/21/10
• 2,000,000 people have been left homeless.
• 3,000,000 people are in need of emergency aid.
• January 20, 2010 - 5.9 magnitude aftershock that did little damage.
• $195 million dollars in aid has been received so far with another $112 million dollars pledged according to one report.
• Another states that $575 million has been collected via agencies like the World Food Program and UNICEF.
• The U.S. government has so far given $171 million in humanitarian aid to the Haiti earthquake relief efforts as of 1/21/10.
• The USAID's Office of U.S. Foreign Disaster Assistance share is $82 million.
• The USAID's Office of Food for Peace contribution amounts to $68 million.
• USAID Dominican Republic health related assistance totals $1 million.
• 3 million meals have been delivered to 200,000 people. This is far short of the 3,000,000 people believed to have been effected by this quake.
• UN allocated $40 million for cash for work programs to employ Haitians to help clear away all the rubble.
• 9,000 peace keepers in Haiti with another 3,500 to be sent there soon.
• As of January 20th the US military has 2,000 troops on the ground assisting now with another 2,000 airborne personal on the way there. An additional 9,500 personal are afloat standing by nearby.
• The US has flown 136 air missions bringing 2,400 tons of food and supplies and 1,900 passengers into Haiti.
• The Toussaint L’Ouverture International Airport is open 24/7 with 153 flights scheduled for January 21st. Of those 38 were US support flights.
• On January the 19th 165,000 bottles of water and 152,000 liters of bulk water were distributed.
• The US Navy's Nimitz class USS Carl Vinson is producing 100,000 gallons of drinkable water per day.
• Water tanks are being built in different parts of the city.
• 38.5 tons of water, or 62,880 bottles of water have been distributed by the U.S. Coast Guard to date.
• 14,500 MRE's, Meals Ready to Eat, and 15,000 liters of water are scheduled to be air dropped via C-17 on January the 21st.
• So far there are 4 food and water distribution hubs. These 4 hubs distribute the supplies to 190 distribution points that reach 96,000 people
• Mexico plans to send doctors, infrastructure damage experts and search and resue dogs aid.
• China will help out with $1 million.
• Ireland: Digicel, an Irish telecommunications company, is donating $5 million directly to relief agencies providing aid in Haiti. Since the company is a prominent cell-phone company in the Caribbean, they will also send specialists to assist in repairing damaged phone networks.
• France Has committed 65 clearing specialists, 6 sniffer dogs, 2 doctors and 2 nurses.
• The Netherlands will provide $2.9 million.
• Spain has pledged $4.3 million to relief efforts.
• Italy is in the process of sending a C-130 cargo plane that is equipped with a emergency medical personal and a mobile field hospital.
• Haiti's population is about 9 million people.
• Haiti is the poorest Western Hemisphere country.
• Haiti is about the same size as Maryland.
• Port-au-Prince is the capital of Haiti.
• Of Haiti's 14 airports only 4 have runways that are paved.

Our Lord God always speaks to us via weather conditions, the Moon, the Sun, the Stars and with the Holy Bible of course! I shall pray and hope that you take the Lord Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior! This includes the entire race on the face of the planet Earth. We all need Jesus! So What's in your Heart?
