R.I.P. Tony Curtis! Long Time No Blog From!

Hey to all my Bloggers out there! It's been a long time. I sorry, I kept you. Without a strong blog to step to! (Rhymes bitten from Eric B. and Rakim) Listen now. Well, I went on vacation. Viva Las Vegas! I had a great time. My condolences to The Curtis Family, Tony Curtis passed away today. Thus me writing this article. I know. I need to stop being so "morbid". 'Cause I was born, born to be alive!(Patrick Hernandez) I'm really not morbid.

I love all of my human family(ya' can work my nerves, too!) That's family for you. LOL! So when one of you passes away(I prefer to use that term over the label "died"). Your whole vocabulary changes when your "Down with the King"(say it in a old school Run DMC way).  As in Jesus Christ, the love of my life!

Nonetheless, when someone I love has, had an influence on my life. Off to the blog I write. I promise to write more often. If was crazy. When I tried to log in. Blogger went "Neo" on me and provided "upgrades"!  Go Blogger, go blogger Go!

Anyway, you know one must step away from their CPUs', Laptops, Desktops, iPads and what nots. In order to engage with the human race, I gotta show my face(hint, you do too).

Death of an Actress of Meaning

May 9, 2010 - Lena Horne passed at the age of 92. She was an Actress, Dancer, Singer African American women who in the early 40's of Hollywood was accepted. She was what the secular world calls "mixed blood". Her parentage is a mix of African, Euro -Centric and Native American.

Lena Horne is the reason actress Hallie Berry can get the movie rolls she gets today. Along with countless of others women of color. If was very difficult to get a part, or to sing or to dance in a Hollywood production. That was unheard of in Hollywood back in the 1940's. In 1942, Lena Horne signed a 7 year contract with MGM after acting in the "race Movie". In the same year she starred in "Panama Hattie".

She became famous after her performance in "Stormy Weather". Furthermore, she played in several MGM musicals, but was never given a leading role because of her Black Heritage. 

There will never be another. Thank you, Lena for all you did for every women of color who is an actress, and those who are trying to become an actress.

Happy Resurrection Day 2010!

He Lives! Jesus is Alive! Alleuia! And he is Coming Back again!
GOD's Blessings often benefit all people. But many of his promises are only for his own children. If you're not sure that your are a part of GOD's family, He offers you this invitation.  The way to Christ is simple:

1. Admit that you have a need. For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23
2. Believe that Jesus is God, the son, who paid the wages of your sin.  For the wages of sin is death[eternal separation from GOD], but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23
3. Call upon God. If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Romans 10:9

Good Friday 2010

I serve an awesome GOD! You should too! Glory be to God! In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ who died for all of our sins. This is the day our Lord has made and we shall rejoice and be glad in it! For all my brothers and sister worldwide, who does not know what Good Friday is let me explain.

This is the day we Believers Christians, Catholics, regardless of religious affiliations celebrate the Crucifixion of our Lord Jesus Christ. You might ask why celebrate his death? Well, if he did not died for our sins we could not be reborn again in Heaven and on Earth and get Eternal Life. Good Friday marks the death of our all sins, that means everybody on this planet Earth, though his blood, we are washed clean from our sins.

On the third day, which is commonly known as Easter Sunday is the day we Believers in Jesus Christ also celebrate. This is the day, GOD rose Jesus Christ from the dead. He is ALIVE and LIVES within us and he is coming back again (known as the Rapture)!
Glory Be to GOD!

Have you taken Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savor? If not, let's do it right now. So you can reap the benefits here on Earth and in Heaven. Amen. Jesus Christ is the only way to make it into Heaven!

Say this out loud with your heart. Keep it Real, for GOD knows your Heart. Ready?

"Dear GOD, for I am a sinner and I believe you sent your only begotten son into this word to died for my sins. Lord God, I make Jesus Christ my Lord and Savor. Come inside my heart. I take you as my Lord God”. Amen.

Congratulations! You have been saved and are now officially a member in the Body of our Lord Jesus Christ! Alleluia!

Once you get saved, the devil will try to make sure that you encounter false doctrine. Your faith is tender and you will be prone to believe anything people tell you about the Bible (that's why you need to read it for yourself everyday).

It's Official! Health Care Reform 2010

It's the Law! Health Care Reform now.  This is the change I voted for. This is for "Teddy" Kennedy who should be smiling in Heaven right now. This hard fought legislation has been in the works since Theodore Roosevelt
The President sign it into law. What goes in effect immediately:

1. Requires health insurance plans to maintain dependent coverage for children until they turn 26; prohibits insurers from denying coverage to children because of pre-existing health problems.
2. Provides tax credits to help small businesses(up to 25 employees) provide workers with insurance.
3. Bars lifetime dollar limits on insurance coverage.
4. Sets up high-risk health insurance pool to provide affordable coverage for uninsured people with medical problems.

219 Yes. 212 No. Health Care Reform Has Passed!

March 21, 2010 - Yet another historic moment has taken place. The yeses have it! Health Care Reform is here and here to stay! This means more than you know. For some who has been watching and paying attention, of course this is not the bill that everyone wanted, but at least everyone no matter race, pre-existing conditions, age limits or anyone who has ever been denied before for treatment due to lack of, or no insurance coverage and those of us who need help with our student loans should be very happy at this moment.

Next step the Senate, then... to the desk of the President.

President Obama State of the Union Address 2010

Wednesday, January 26, 2010 - The President of the Untied States addresses the nation.  Answering the nation on the issue of heath care during these rough times. The spirit of the America people is needed badly, to stand up for a purpose such as this. The president said we cut taxes in places we needed to, while the republicans sats on their hands.

Nonetheless, while giving taxes cuts to banks and fortune 500 companies we the America public sat and watched and blogged about it in disbelief. The address spoke as well as of this 2010 election year we still need to govern. We don't need to be divided, but united in the house and in the senate. "Let's leave behind the fear.

Exactly.
