The 2012 Henderson, NV Office Opens

Henderson, NV - Last Thursday night, November, 10, 2011, Senator Shirley Breeden, Senate District 5 (Photo above), Colleen Loper and crew (i.e. Volunteers, friends, etc.) opens the Southeastern/Henderson Branch office, a suburb of Las Vegas, NV, for the 2012, Barackobama.com, campaign. This is the third office, to open in the state of Nevada for President Barack Obama.

It was sort of a prep rally, part sign in, and sign up, meet and greet, etc.. For those of us, who worked on the 2008 Change campaign, we were well prepared. A hope of newbies young and old gather in, to find out more and how they could help. The small office was packed, with, full of hope, imagination and determination, for this great nation.

We have much educating to do, with regards of what the President has already accomplished during hs first term; The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010, over 40,000 troops returning home for Christmas this year, can forget the capturing, death and removal of Osama Bin, and the appointment of American’s first Latino Women Supreme Court judge Sonya Sotomayor, so on and so forth. Why isn’t the media, not reporting this as much as they should? Things that make you go….hmmmm?

Team 2012 is here, and we got your back, Mr. President! We are fired up and really to go!

Yes and Jesus Christ too, but with these Republicans what's one to do? Yet, these guys refuse to pass the jobs bill. Here we go again!

Why is it, that the others in the House, are voting on everything but what happens to be the number one issue in America today? Jobs. Jobs that people need, Jobs that people want, and Jobs that people do not have! The key letter being "J". The other guys thinks that they will do this until next November 2012 elections. Who do they think they are fooling? Even a blind man or woman can clearly see the games they are playing.

President Obama said in regards to the subject of the jobs bill on November 2, 2011: "When 72 percent of the American people support the ideas in this bill -- 72 percent of Americans agree with this -- Republicans, Democrats and independents -- there's no excuse for 100 percent of Washington Republicans to say no," said the president. "That's means that the Republicans in Washington are out of touch with Republican voters."

Jesus said in Matthew 12:25-30: ²⁵ But Jesus knew their thoughts, and said to them: “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand. ²⁶ If Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself. U.S. Troops Are Coming Home!

Sing it with me “l’ll be home for Christmas…”, but it won’t only be in your dreams!" The U.S. troops stationed in Iraq for the past nine years, will be home for the holidays! This is the “Change” I voted for, and I’ll take four(4) more, please (years)! Thanks, Mr President for keeping your campaign promises! There will be 150-200 troops left to protect the US Embassy there in Iraq.

This comes, about as an impasse with Iraq for not providing protection of 40,000 of our service men and women was the main reason, why they are coming home for the holidays. How fitting, the day after Gadhafi passed. I know I spoke of his tyrannt ways a day or two ago, on my previous blog article. People of Libya, give his body back to his family, so that he can be buried!

GOD doesn’t like ugly and neither do I. That's how sweet my Jesus is. We are taught to love our enemies, too!

If He thinks, He’s Bigger, than Dig a Bigger, Ditch!

Another “4” (years) for President “O”! Congratulation, to NATO, President Obama, the French, British and most importantly the people of Libya, who said, No more! Yes, I know my brothers and sisters in this area, are primarily Muslims, but Jesus died for you too! It all comes down to this. After forty and three scores, of a brutal dictatorship, Col. Gadhafi was killed.

For those of us, alive, or not, when Pan Am Flight 103, was boomed. It was on Wednesday, December 21, 1988 when flight 103 was flying from London Heathrow Airport to JFK International Airport New York. It was destroyed by a bomber, killing all 243 passengers, 16 crew members, and 11 people in Lockerbie in Scotland was killed as well. This was also know as the “Lockerbie bombing”. I have included a link to show many, who booked a seat on this flight, but cancelled.
God is Good all the time! R&B group the Four Tops, Kim Cattrall, from Sex and the City, another was a member of the Sex Pistols. It wasn’t until February 23, 2011 that Mustapha Abdel Jalil, former Libyan Justice Minister (and later member and Chairman, of the anti Gaddafi National Transitional Council), alleged that he had proof that Libyan leader, Muammar al-Gaddafi, had personally ordered Abdelbaset al-Megrahi to carry the bomb on to flight 103.

Trust me, there are no mistakes, in the world. So for some of you, who are trying to blame, My GOD for tragic events, such as this one. Know this, GOD gave the Planet Earth, to the Children of men (i.e. that means me and you, are it’s stewards). Jesus says in Matthew 24: 8-14;

“All these are the beginning of sorrows. 9 “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. 10 And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. 11 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. 12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.”

I am trying to find something good to say about him…but I can’t. Since I have been in high school this, child of the darkness, bought terror to all and any one he choose to. GOD said in Exodus 23:1, “You shall not circulate a false report. Do not put your hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness". Best believe, there are many mourning from their graves, waiting to give, their testimonies against him.

Little Bird Woman, Gets her Heavenly Wings!

Elouise Cobell “Little Bird Woman”, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2011, from cancer, at the age of 65. Elouise Cobell, was the great granddaughter of Mountain Chief. Mrs. Elouise Cobell was a Native American leader who sued the federal government and settled for 3.4 billion. It was under President Obama’s Administration who appointed Ken Salazar, to the position of Department of Interior, in which the case, “Salazar vs. Corbell” was settled. Please note, the case began in 1996, during former President Clinton administration.

I am a strong believer in everything happens for a reason. The Holy Bible puts it this way: “Everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven”. Read the entire chapter Ecclesiastes 3.

Named Little Bird Woman at birth, but there was nothing little about this woman, who soar like an eagle for her Native American people. The World Unites to Stand and Fight!

How fitting, that on the weekend, where we here, in the United States celebrated a memorial, of the late great Dr. Martin L. King, Jr. monument, in Washington, D.C., on Sunday, October 16, 2011. The one who stood for justice for all. If it wasn’t for men and women of character, such as Dr. King. Would I even have a blog subject to display here today? Yes, but, the point I am making is, this coincides, beautifully with the Occupy Wall Street movement. As you know October 17, 2011, marks the 1st month anniversary, of the Occupy Wall Street movement.

It was on September 17, 2011, when the mass media ignored the protesters who refer to themselves as the “We are the 99%”. I’m not saying that I am not one of them, because I am, I’m just writing in third person. Can you dig? Nevertheless, as the movement grows, what can become of this movement? I have wonderful, thoughts and ideas. As the world turns, the rest of the world protests, more, and more against: Greed, corruption and really freedom from tyranny! Power to the People!

The most important part of this battle is to get those in leadership, not only to listen to us, but to hear what, we the people, are sick and tired of. I fought for justice, many times in my life and will continue to do so. “Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.” 1Timothy 6:12 I will always be for the people. For this is one of the most important laws of our Lord GOD. To love thy neighbor as thy self. This movement, I must say brings me joy! It’s interesting, motivating and covers many issues that we have here on earth, that effects the people.

For those of you, who have read my previous articles here on this blog. You are aware of my, Passion of Jesus Christ. “He who has an ear, let him hear…”Revelation 2:17 (NKJV). The two most important laws, Jesus gave us was; “You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind and your neighbor as yourself.” Luke 10:27(NKJV) So it is with love, I write to you my beloved. I like to write about the future Jesus told us about and continues to tell us about in the Holy Bible (for those who read it).

So, to the Occupy Wall Street protesters around the world. I will leave you with this piece of food for thought, from our Lord Jesus Christ:

“Then spoke the Lord to Paul in the night by a vision, Be not afraid, but speak, and hold not your peace” Acts 18:9”

Steve Jobs 1955-2011, Gone too Soon!

Our beloved Steve Jobs passed today. Fitting, just as a new release of one of his amazing electronics, the iPhone4S comes out. He goes out of this world. I want to thank you Mr. Jobs, for creating Apple.

I learn how to operate a computer in middle school. Which happen to be on a Apple SE. We used to collect Campbell Soup Labels to earn enough to purchase Apple computers for our school’s (Place Middle School) computer lab. I am typing this blog, right now on a MacBook Pro.

Fitting. As it’s been raining on and off all day. I have to go finish my weeping and celebrating over a human that help me achieve (as well as many other), greatness though his technology.

No longer Lost in Translation! Amanda Knox is Free!

Perugia, Italy - Around 4pm (ET), here in the States. We heard an Italian court let go Amanda Knox, after nearly four years of bondage! God is good all the time! She eloquently spoke in fluent Italian, to make her case that she was innocence. Once you hear all the details of the case, for those of you living under a rock during the past four years, here it is, in a nutshell. It was the American Girl studying abroad in Italy, they accused of murdering her roommate, etc.

Amanda Knox’s creditability was tried by a demeaning Prosecuting attorney Giuliano Mignini is under indictment himself. I have never been too fond of studying abroad (especially during these times)and definitely not after 9/11. Amanda Knox should have been free when Rudy Guede was already convicted of the rape and murder of the victim, Meredith Kercher.

I still could not understand what happen in this case from the door. Just found out, that it took the Italian police, four days to bring charges against her. She was told that she was playing out a scenario when the Italian police asked her to go back to the crime scene. They were setting her up. She had no rights to a lawyer, or at least get to call to the American Embassy.

I do not want to discourage anyone from studying abroad. Just make sure you know the country’s rules and regulations before going. Or how about just staying state side to study? Praise the Lord, that the jury found her not guilty on 3 of the 4 charges that were bought against her. The charge, they found her guilty on, she had already serve that time. So they had to let her Go! “The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.” Psalms 18:2 (NKJV)

So next time you think, America’s justice system sucks. Think about Amanda Knox case in Italy! I bet she would be cool never seeing Italy again! I know I would!

In Memory of 9/11/01--Where Were You?

Where were you on September 11, 2001? I was in Philadelphia, PA. I can remember that day as anyone would remember where they were on that day. I was angry, frustrated, sadden and totally went into preparing for an emergency exit out the city of Philadelphia, PA. I clearly can remember, how the people I was working with, was so totally out of the reality, that we were under attack. Side note: I've done the research and yes, I know it was a set up. That's another blog article for another time.

What I clearly can recall is how the response from my co-workers and the non-responses. It totally made me look at them differently. The owner of the company, I was working for, at the time, came in and told us to turn on the television, in the break room. We did. It was the receptionist and myself who was in at this time. We both watched the North tower being hit. I went to call my boyfriend at that time. He was calling his peoples in Newark, New Jersey. I had an college friend of mine who just recently relocated back to New York, NY. I left messages on her voicemail. I knew she worked closed to the World Trade Center. I never heard from her again.

The reactions of my co-workers made me see that GOD was testing us. I figure that this is how the rapture will be. I went outside and was looking upwards. Upper management who was just coming in and getting the news, they were like business as usual. I was like, I can get another job, but I can get another me. By the time I was gathering up my things to leave and making calls, to my family members across the nation. The Pentagon was hit by Flight 77. I knew we were at war after Flight 77 crashed into the Pentagon.

I sat down to write what I needed for at least the next 3-7 days. Batteries for my flash light, canned goods, water, candles, matches, lighters, a map, a full tank of gas for my truck. I totally went into military mode. By that time, Major John Street made announcement, that all businesses, schools, should closed in Philadelphia, PA. I didn't need that confirmation, but my co-workers and bosses did. I was already in my truck and I gave the receptionist a ride. She was just in shock. I told her I had to go to the Pathmark to pick up my list of things. One of the main things, I love about people of the East Coast. As I was packing my shopping cart, full of my things on my list. People inquired about my things in my cart. I told them what was going on. Then I got a call that, there was another flight under distress. I dropped off my co-worker and then we heard Flight 93 went down in Shanksville, PA. After hearing the reports and that people of Flight 93 took the terrorist down. That gave me a moment of hope and pride.

I never had any patriotic feelings for this country before. Until that day. For the following month, my former boyfriend and I went up one week later to check on his family members. There was a thick smoke from the towers that was still lingering in the skies. It was unbelievable. This was the only time since, God put me here in the United States of America, that I actually witness unity amongst my fellow citizens. It lasted about a month. But what a beautiful month it was.

I still can see the future and it's bright. I know now how some people will react to it or how they won't react to it. This is how the rapture will be. "Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken and the other left." Matthew 24:40 (NKJV)

Earthquakes in the East and the West

I will continue to repeat the coming of the Lord on this blog. That is one of the main reasons, that I created this blog in hope, that you will choose Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior before the Rapture occurs. It is our duties as believers of Jesus Christ to repent and to remind those who don’t believe that the Holy Bible is the truth and the word of GOD. God has been giving this earth warnings signs since the beginning time. You know the one that we put on all our legal tender, “In GOD We Trust”. We have been doing everything but praying and asking for GOD's forgiveness. Which he is ready to do for us. All we have to do is just ask!

With today events in Virginia regarding the earthquake, which was a 5.8 quake. As you know earthquakes are not common in this part of the United States. There was a 5.9 earthquake in Triadad, CO, which occurred on Monday, August 22, 2011. Denver, CO is 180 miles away. Some parts of Denver, CO felt the quake. Earthquakes have happen before in these parts, but are not common, especially on this scale. Of course, the non-believers will be skeptical.

Nonetheless, in my understanding of the Word. Jesus teaches us “For he who has ears, let them hear”, Matthew 11:15(NKJV). This should show us that God is warning his people(us) that he is still in control. God speaks to us through our minds and hearts. God occasionally speaks audibly to His children when He has placed them in situations that require great faith. Thus, the miraculous aspect of a physical voice coming from nowhere allows us to believe in situations that are beyond us.

I found in the New Testament, Paul writing of God’s Wrath Against Sinful Humanity. Romans 1:18-31. No man know the second coming of the Lord. Just be ready!

Too bad, it was reported on our President's 50th Birthday. Just 24 hour later after hearing about the first "tar baby" comments made by 5th District, of Colorado, Doug Lamborn. I know some of you out there, are scratching your heads asking to yourself, why would you be thanking these two? Well, first of all it's just the ammunition I needed to motivate myself to start campaigning again, for the 2012 re-election of our President Barrack Obama and exposing the real intentions of the Tea Party. For those of you who missed it(yet another serious violation by the mass media, for under reporting this atrocity).

I was a volunteer with Campaign for Change in 2008 and will be volunteering on the 2012 movement as well. It brings me great disappointment and disgust with regards to these comments made by Buchanan and Lamborn, but I flip the negative into positive in all situations. So they just gave me more to fuel my fiery passion with, and to stand up and fight for what's right. For all people, here in America as well as around the world!

I'll used this timely quote, "You're not supposed to be so blind with patriotism that you can't face reality". How awesome that the late great Malcom X spoke on the wrongs doings of our leaders here in America, and didn't need to mention race or bad name the wrong doer when speaking(Disclaimer: Well in some, cases X did, he didn't turn the other cheek!) If we don't know our past, we are doomed to repeat it. We the people need to start fighting against our leaders, who are doing wrong. The majority of Americans are too busy complaining about being unemployed and lack of this of that, which is the direct result of voting(or not voting) the bad leaders into these positions in the first place. That's why it is imperative to vote for the best candidate available and to voice your opinions to your local Congressman/woman, Senators and the like. We must fight! It is our right!

Jesus said "So then because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew you out of my mouth". Rev. 3:16 (NKJV) So will you be lukewarm, or hot, or cold, towards the blatant comments made towards the our President of the United States of America?

Furthermore, did everybody forget already what Prime Minister Vladimir Putin referred us to? "Like a Parasites" on the global economy. This is a direct result of all the quibbling going on in the house with the newly elect tea party members. Reuters has the full report click here.

Hello everyone. Just when you though I wasn't going to blog to you. Here I am! I missed you. Once again, it has been a long time since I have been blogging here. So, please forgive me for keeping you waiting. The media yet again is trying to sweep under the rug, another Racist comments made about our President of the United States of America! From another Tea Bag Nation memebr. If you missed what was said the "memo" is linked below. My hometown is Colorado. I was blessed to be born and raised there in such a beautiful state. I have righteous friends of all color, who grew up there and we have never had this tea bag racial problem.

To have a Tea Bagger, (yeah, I said it)representative from Colorado, Rep. Doug Lamborn, in Colorado Springs, CO refer to our President as a "Tar Baby" is inexpiable!

May 1, 2011 --- Almost ten years, short by four months and ten days, away from the tenth anniversary of 9/11/01. AP first broke the news, then later CNN air it to us. Apparently, this capture and killing of Osama Bin Laden happened last week.

President Obama spoke to the nation on Sunday, May 1, 2011 as locals, tourists, Georgetown students celebrated in front of the White House. Exactly, where FBI agents told workers in the white house to run to back on that dreadful day. Finally, some kind of good news during these days of lack luster years we have been experiencing lately.

Did I mention it happen on President Obama's watch? Four more for President "O " I say! Yeaahh!

God Has A Plan For Japan

I am currently reading “Storm Warning” by Billy Graham. In it, Billy Graham states “Storms are a struggle”. We all must be ready for storms to occur throughout our life. I pray, for Japan and the people in Japan, at the time of this massive earthquake, tsunami and aftershocks there going though. During my birth month(March), I am very used to all types of “March Madness”. The real madness happens when we don’t acknowledge GOD or believe that there is one! We must not forget GOD!

I know it to be true, that GOD has always communicated with us though the weather that He changes. Secular people call it "Mother Nature". When it’s actually, GOD calling on us to praise him for his works and to repent, so he can protect us! This life can be changeling, but God never give us things we cannot handle.

Since the beginning of time, GOD has been talking to us, but are we listening? If you go to my earlier blogs here at gforcenews.blogspot.com, you will find me repeating the warning signs of the second coming of Jesus Christ. For those of us who are saved, we can rest assured, that we will be raptured.

I started this blog in two parts; during my time volunteering for Campaign for Change in 2008, during the Historical Democratic National Convention; in Denver, CO for then Senator, now President Barrack Obama. I was led by the Holy Sprint, to represent God on this Earth as Daughter of Abraham(click on About me). That's the first reason, I was led to start blogging. Then my volunteering, led to more content I that I would blog about.

Go to my archives blog articles(look to your left). What you'll find out is, that GOD has his hand in all of it! So, why is it when we need help we don’t go to GOD? My last blog entry, I just recently wrote about the number 111 in 2011. We really need to focus on the book of Jonah(Old Testament). For those of you who don’t have a Bible, you can Google it! No excuses.

Tsunami in Indonesia 2004, Floods in Louisiana, 2005 so on and so forth. This is GOD giving us a warning of his mighty return. GOD clearly could have wiped out of all of these populous places but he didn’t. These current events, has bought me to a deeper understanding (in Jesus’s Teachings) thus I share them with you. “He that hath ears to hear, let him hear”. Matthew 11:15 (KJV)

God has a Plan for you Japan! Japan, God is calling for you! Will you answer? “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. The Number 111 in the 2011 Year

Everybody on Earth birth and age numbers equals 1-1-1 this year! You don’t believe me? Just add your age (meaning how old you will be this year and then add the year). For an example: I will use my niece’s age(because I don’t want you to know my age!) LOL :).

She will be 18 this year, and was born in 1993. So add her age, eighteen(18) and the year she was born in 1993. Just use the last two numbers for the year(93). So 18+93 equals 111! I did mines and I equal 111. I called and asked all my family members and all their numbers equals 111.

Now do yours. Waiting...told you so! Now that you know this to be true. What does the number 111 mean? It has several sufficient meanings. For spiritual reasons let’s take a look at Psalm 111.

In Psalm 111, I took this passage from Charles H. Spurgeon book “ There is no title to this psalm, but it is an alphabetical hymn of praise, having for its subject the works of the Lord in creation, providence, and grace. The sweet singer dwells upon the one idea that God should be known by his people, and that this knowledge when turned into practical piety is man's true wisdom, and the certain cause of lasting adoration. Many are ignorant of what their Creator has done, and hence they are foolish in heart, and silent as to the praises of God: this evil can only be removed by a remembrance of God's works, and a diligent study of them; to this, therefore, the psalm is meant to arouse us. It may be called The Psalm of God's Works intended to excite us to the work of praise”.

So in plain English, GOD is waiting on us to praise him, so we may be Blessed with what he has Already created for us. GOD has opened up the windows of Heaven. Every one of us, have all back sled on HIS word. GOD wants us to repent and wants us to praise him so he can restore to us; what was lost, stolen or taken from us.

Like what the people of Nineveh was going though in the book of Jonah (Old Testament). Like the recession in American the source of great evil and suffering. The people of Nineveh repented and praised the Lord and was saved! Refer to JONAH 4:2

The insert below I found is from Professor Rolf Jacobson tells us this way:

THE MERCY OF GOD

“After Nineveh repents, God relents and does not punish the city. Jonah is angry and tells God that this is why he fled in the opposite direction from Nineveh in the first place--because he knew that God was merciful.

ANALYSIS

The language that Jonah uses here is traditional language. It occurs famously in Exodus 34: "The Lord, the Lord, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness" (v. 6). But Jonah does not use this traditional language to praise God but to accuse God of forgiving a people whom he thought deserved to be judged and punished.”

So instead of being mad at your situation. Try Praising the name of the Lord and get your blessings! I think I am going praise him right now!!!

Holy, Holy, Holy is our Lord GOD Almighty, which was, and is and is to come! Repeat!

You have not, because you ask not. It’s time to convert the Non-Believers!!! You tried everything else. Now Repent and Praise Thy Lord!!!

The Lifetime Achievement (SAG)Award Goes To Ernest Borgnine

Ernest Borgnine was awarded the Lifetime Achievement award by SAG at their 17th Annual gala. SAG stands for Screen Actors Guild ( i.e. Union Actors). For most younger folks the most recent film he just stared in was “RED”. Tim Connelly who presented the award to Mr. Borgnine, joking referred to him starting in the new AARP film. It was just recently released on DVD. It’s now available on Apple TV and Netflix. I will be ordering it soon! Click here for the trailer of RED.

Congratulations and many thanks for a human called Ernest Borgnine. Glory be to God. I have always had an older person though out my life. Who has always help make me laugh (funny thing, they all know Jesus and most are still alive today, Amen). Well, Mr. Borgnine you are included in this group. Especially whenever I watched McHale’s Navy.

Ernest Borgnine has acted in over 160 films. He was encouraged by his mother to act. After returning from serving in the Navy for over ten years. Side note; I just found out he has personally visited every Veteran’s Hospital in the United States of American.

My favorite role beside McHale’s Navy was his role in the film “Escape for New York City”. Remember? Circa 1981. He was the Taxi Driver. Click here for the trailer if your memory is fading.

Ernie still acting at 94 and entertaining us all. God will give you a long and happy life too! Happy belated Birthday Ernie and thanks for your acting skills, the many memories you have given and continue to give us all. Amen.

This is why I voted for change. I am speaking of the speech that our President Obama give tonight. You might not have seen the entire speech. So click here. Due to the 44th President. I have worked on Campaign for Change(2007-2008), Bennett for Colorado(2010) and since I was 13, I have always been down for fighting for the people. I started and particularly named my blog after the 44th President (see above), the subtitle that it. Jesus Christ is the love of my life, so he with always reign Supreme UNO!!! What? You Don't Know!? So that’s why the 44th President came in second for the subtitle.

To all of my bloggers, no matter what ever it is that motivates you. Get on with it already. The world awaits. One more thing, I see the sitting arrangement tend to work out better then some of you had thought. Wink.

God calls Fitness Pioneer Jack La Lanne home(Heaven)

On January 23, 2011, Jack LaLanne went to be with the Lord. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Jack pioneer fitness and took it to a whole another level. Honestly, even until he took he last breath Jack was in marvelous shape even at 96. If you really have tried to get in shape and stay in shape. You know Jack was always there to courage you to start. One of his favorite lines was..."The only way you can hurt the body is not use it," LaLanne said. "Inactivity is the killer and, remember, it's never too late."

Peace Corps Founder, Sargent Shriver 1915-2011

Today, we lost another strong solider off the earth who fought for the poor with his war on poverty during, Lyndon B Johnson administration. He founded Peace Corps that help spread the word, to help thoses in needs and his program still helps millions today. This is Maria Shriver's father(Arnold Schwarzenegger's wife). They don't make men like this anymore. I know he was a God fearing man. Glory Be to God. For those of us who know and has taken the Lord Jesus Christ as their savior. We will see and be with each other in Heaven very soon.

I normally don't blog on Sundays, for it's the Lord's Day and the Sabbath is meant for us to rest. Once again my prayers go out to my brothers and sisters in Brazil with the recent floods. As I spoke to God for Australia, Haiti and now Brazil. Now is the time to take the Lord God as your Lord and savior. Brazil you have known God before, so it's time to come back home. God is still on the throne and he is nigh. Jesus is at the door.

Oh Dear Haiti, as the days go by. We continue to pray for you and for thoses of you who called on the name of the Lord Jesus and who were Saved. 16 Days later a 17 year old Girl was found ALIVE.

This was a 7.0 magnitude earthquake .
The USGS says this was the strongest earthquake to hit the area that is now known as Haiti since 1770.
61 reported dead and 180 people unaccounted for, mostly Haitian national staff according to UN numbers. (It is my opinion this number is way too low.)
Porte-au-Prince's population is 2,000,000
The Haitian government estimates 200,000 have died as a result of this sad incident. 1/21/10
2,000,000 people have been left homeless.
3,000,000 people are in need of emergency aid.
January 20, 2010 - 5.9 magnitude aftershock that did little damage.
$195 million dollars in aid has been received so far with another $112 million dollars pledged according to one report.
Another states that $575 million has been collected via agencies like the World Food Program and UNICEF.
The U.S. government has so far given $171 million in humanitarian aid to the Haiti earthquake relief efforts as of 1/21/10.
The USAID's Office of U.S. Foreign Disaster Assistance share is $82 million.
The USAID's Office of Food for Peace contribution amounts to $68 million.
USAID Dominican Republic health related assistance totals $1 million.
3 million meals have been delivered to 200,000 people. This is far short of the 3,000,000 people believed to have been effected by this quake.
UN allocated $40 million for cash for work programs to employ Haitians to help clear away all the rubble.
9,000 peace keepers in Haiti with another 3,500 to be sent there soon.
As of January 20th the US military has 2,000 troops on the ground assisting now with another 2,000 airborne personal on the way there. An additional 9,500 personal are afloat standing by nearby.
The US has flown 136 air missions bringing 2,400 tons of food and supplies and 1,900 passengers into Haiti.
The Toussaint L’Ouverture International Airport is open 24/7 with 153 flights scheduled for January 21st. Of those 38 were US support flights.
On January the 19th 165,000 bottles of water and 152,000 liters of bulk water were distributed.
The US Navy's Nimitz class USS Carl Vinson is producing 100,000 gallons of drinkable water per day.
Water tanks are being built in different parts of the city.
38.5 tons of water, or 62,880 bottles of water have been distributed by the U.S. Coast Guard to date.
14,500 MRE's, Meals Ready to Eat, and 15,000 liters of water are scheduled to be air dropped via C-17 on January the 21st.
So far there are 4 food and water distribution hubs. These 4 hubs distribute the supplies to 190 distribution points that reach 96,000 people
Mexico plans to send doctors, infrastructure damage experts and search and resue dogs aid.
China will help out with $1 million.
Ireland: Digicel, an Irish telecommunications company, is donating $5 million directly to relief agencies providing aid in Haiti. Since the company is a prominent cell-phone company in the Caribbean, they will also send specialists to assist in repairing damaged phone networks.
France Has committed 65 clearing specialists, 6 sniffer dogs, 2 doctors and 2 nurses.
The Netherlands will provide $2.9 million.
Spain has pledged $4.3 million to relief efforts.
Italy is in the process of sending a C-130 cargo plane that is equipped with a emergency medical personal and a mobile field hospital.
Haiti's population is about 9 million people.
Haiti is the poorest Western Hemisphere country.
Haiti is about the same size as Maryland.
Port-au-Prince is the capital of Haiti.
Of Haiti's 14 airports only 4 have runways that are paved.

Viva Las Vegas! I had a great time. My condolences to The Curtis Family, Tony Curtis passed away today. Thus me writing this article. I know. I need to stop being so "morbid". 'Cause I was born, born to be alive!(Patrick Hernandez) I'm really not morbid.

I love all of my human family(ya' can work my nerves, too!) That's family for you. LOL! So when one of you passes away(I prefer to use that term over the label "died"). Your whole vocabulary changes when your "Down with the King"(say it in a old school Run DMC way). As in Jesus Christ, the love of my life!

Nonetheless, when someone I love has, had an influence on my life. Off to the blog I write. I promise to write more often. If was crazy. When I tried to log in. Blogger went "Neo" on me and provided "upgrades"! Go Blogger, go blogger Go!

Death of an Actress of Meaning

May 9, 2010 - Lena Horne passed at the age of 92. She was an Actress, Dancer, Singer African American women who in the early 40's of Hollywood was accepted. She was what the secular world calls "mixed blood". Her parentage is a mix of African, Euro -Centric and Native American.

Lena Horne is the reason actress Hallie Berry can get the movie rolls she gets today. Along with countless of others women of color. If was very difficult to get a part, or to sing or to dance in a Hollywood production. That was unheard of in Hollywood back in the 1940's. In 1942, Lena Horne signed a 7 year contract with MGM after acting in the "race Movie". In the same year she starred in "Panama Hattie".

She became famous after her performance in "Stormy Weather". Furthermore, she played in several MGM musicals, but was never given a leading role because of her Black Heritage.

There will never be another. Thank you, Lena for all you did for every women of color who is an actress, and those who are trying to become an actress.

I serve an awesome GOD! You should too! Glory be to God! In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ who died for all of our sins. This is the day our Lord has made and we shall rejoice and be glad in it! For all my brothers and sister worldwide, who does not know what Good Friday is let me explain.

This is the day we Believers Christians, Catholics, regardless of religious affiliations celebrate the Crucifixion of our Lord Jesus Christ. You might ask why celebrate his death? Well, if he did not died for our sins we could not be reborn again in Heaven and on Earth and get Eternal Life. Good Friday marks the death of our all sins, that means everybody on this planet Earth, though his blood, we are washed clean from our sins.

On the third day, which is commonly known as Easter Sunday is the day we Believers in Jesus Christ also celebrate. This is the day, GOD rose Jesus Christ from the dead. He is ALIVE and LIVES within us and he is coming back again (known as the Rapture)!

Have you taken Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savor? If not, let's do it right now. So you can reap the benefits here on Earth and in Heaven. Amen. Jesus Christ is the only way to make it into Heaven!

Say this out loud with your heart. Keep it Real, for GOD knows your Heart. Ready?

Congratulations! You have been saved and are now officially a member in the Body of our Lord Jesus Christ! Alleluia!

Once you get saved, the devil will try to make sure that you encounter false doctrine. Your faith is tender and you will be prone to believe anything people tell you about the Bible (that's why you need to read it for yourself everyday).

It's Official! Health Care Reform 2010

It's the Law! Health Care Reform now. This is the change I voted for. This is for "Teddy" Kennedy who should be smiling in Heaven right now. This hard fought legislation has been in the works since Theodore Roosevelt
The President sign it into law. What goes in effect immediately:

Requires health insurance plans to maintain dependent coverage for children until they turn 26; prohibits insurers from denying coverage to children because of pre-existing health problems.
Provides tax credits to help small businesses(up to 25 employees) provide workers with insurance.
Bars lifetime dollar limits on insurance coverage.
Sets up high-risk health insurance pool to provide affordable coverage for uninsured people with medical problems.

March 21, 2010 - Yet another historic moment has taken place. The yeses have it! Health Care Reform is here and here to stay! This means more than you know. For some who has been watching and paying attention, of course this is not the bill that everyone wanted, but at least everyone no matter race, pre-existing conditions, age limits or anyone who has ever been denied before for treatment due to lack of, or no insurance coverage and those of us who need help with our student loans should be very happy at this moment.

Next step the Senate, then... to the desk of the President.

Wednesday, January 26, 2010 - The President of the Untied States addresses the nation. Answering the nation on the issue of heath care during these rough times. The spirit of the America people is needed badly, to stand up for a purpose such as this. The president said we cut taxes in places we needed to, while the republicans sats on their hands.

Nonetheless, while giving taxes cuts to banks and fortune 500 companies we the America public sat and watched and blogged about it in disbelief. The address spoke as well as of this 2010 election year we still need to govern. We don't need to be divided, but united in the house and in the senate. "Let's leave behind the fear.

Senate passes Health Care Bill on Christmas Eve 2009

December 24, 2009 - Today, another historical event took place on the hill. At 7am, (ET) President Obama acknowledging the Senate voting and passing a bill for heath care reform. As this is not the final version that will reach the president's desk in early 2010.

This struggle began with President Therode Roosevelt trying to inject health legislation, with countless of others keeping the fight and hope alive. Just recently, the late, great Senator "Teddy" Edward Kennedy was known as the Liberal Lion especially on this issue of Health Care for all.

Former Senator Edward “Teddy” Kennedy was smiling from Heaven today when our President address Congress on Healthcare reform. President Obama set the record straight on Health Care reform. It was clear from the start of his speech that, there is division on this issue from the republicans members of congress. One from the republicans side said out loud “that’s a lie" when President Obama spoke on the facts not the fiction; that illegal immigrants would not be cover. The republican has yet to be identified(at the time of this blog). It is clear. Not all members of Congress want all Americans to have health insurance. It's mandatory to have car insurance to drive in America, why is that not the case when it comes to health care?

I keep bear witnessing, the nastiness of those against healthcare reform, though scare tactics that has been broadcast on many television stations via commercials. Which brings more confusion not understanding. The greatest point made was the cost associated with this reform. President Obama said it will cost less then, what was spent on the Iran war. This is one of the main charges the republicans frequently use to keep the division going. How many more American’s must die, be denied for coverage, or file for bankruptcy due to no insurance or lack there of?

The time is now America. It's time to act.

Congratulations, Judge Sonya Sotomayor

Washington, DC - Eastern time, 3:35 pm President Obama confirmed after a 68-31 vote from the senate. Sonya Sotomayor will replace retiring Judge David Souter, to become the 111th U.S. Supreme Court Judge, the highest court of the land.

Sonya Sotomayor becomes America's first Latino judge nominated by America's first African-American President. Let us all celebrate this historic vote and moment please. Judge Sonya Sotomayor will be confirmed officially on Saturday, August 8, 2009.

Let's take a look at the mathematics on this one. August being the 8th month of the year, on the 8th day in 2009, that's 8+8+9 (month, day and year) which equals 7. As I spoke on this before GOD loves numbers and seven stand for The number seven symbolizes God's perfection, His sovereignty and holiness completion. Judge Sonya Sotomayor, will become the 111th judge of the supreme court, 1+1+1 equals 3.( God is an absolute ruler and the angels are his upper class, the people are his subjects and our consists of 3 different forms Judaical, Legislative and Presidential).

This gives even more hope that yes you can, achieve any dream you have no matter the color of your skin. So don't let anyone tell you differently.

Pardons Granted. The First Right Steps for North Korea

Pyongyand, North Korea--Former President Clinton went to North Korea to bring journalists Laura Ling and Euna Lee home. Mission Accomplished.

Allowed by the Obama Administration, the hard workers who helped get this deal done also included: Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, for asking for amnesty, that set the tone; former Vice President Al Gore, Governor Bill Richardson of New Mexico, for their influences and former President William Clinton(Kim Jong has been waiting for a visit from you since the 1990's, when you were president). Better late then never.

Collectively, they all saved both journalists Laura Ling and Euna Lee from a 12 year hard labor time for illegal entry and engaging in "Hostile acts".

Remember, in July when we were still mourning Michael Jackson's death, we totally forgot about that July 4, 2009, party North Korea wanted us to watch. Former President Clinton had a rare negotiation talk with the reclusive Kim Jong II in North Korea.

I like what our new Obama Administration have accomplished within the first 7 month of his presidency thus far. What a nice birthday gift. "Happy Birthday", President Obama.

The Health Care Debate and Why We Need it

Shaker Heights, OH--Today, President Barack Obama made his case again for Health Care reform. In these times of H1N1, diabetes, as more baby boomers who are retiring and for 47 million Americans who are uninsured why would any righteous citizens debate this? Maybe it's due to the conflict that has always existed between the Republican party(and any other party) and their Health Care Lobbyist Associations ties, who are very frighten that their backdoor cash deals and other favors might be revealed.

I have yet to hear any other ideas from the Republicans or from any other parties for that matter on how to resolved this mess call the Health Care System and what else they can do for the American public health care concerns. I have always been a believer that "if it's not broke don't fix it. Well, ladies and gentleman, America's Health Care System is broken and our President is trying to fix it.

With the help of responsible citizens we all can have health care insurance. The only reason I currently keep my "day job" is for the health benefits. Or if we had Universal Health Care, I could blog to you more often and well as do more things for my community. It's not that I am sick or even have a "pre-existing" condition. I am very athlete and if I was to break a bone, God forbid, I would like to know I was covered.

Therefore, write your hometown, Senators and local Council Members and tell them, it's very important for all of us to have health care insurance. We can't stand united if we are divided, nor can we carry on, or work at our jobs if we are sickly.

Walter Cronkite, News Legend, 1916-2009

New York, NY - Today we lost another great Icon, Walter Cronkite was the face of CBS Evening News. I believe we can give the title to him as the first official Anchorman that America believed and trusted(Dan Rather if read this blog your right up there their with him, man). This was back when television went off the air at midnight(yes, young people we didn't always have 24 hour news coverage).

Walter Cronkite reported some of the most pivotal events in America, such the assassinations of President John F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King Jr., the Apollo 11 landing on the moon and the Vietnam War. It was President Lyndon B. Johnson that once said "If I have lost Walter Cronkite, I have lost America". No newscaster, reporter, broadcaster was ever held in that high regard.

President Obama Speech to the NAACP's 100th Anniversary

New York, NY- The NAACP stands for the National Association of Colored People. President Obama speaks to members, friends and many others at the 100th Anniversary of the NAACP. He mentions the Niagara Movement, W.E.B. De Bois, the freedom fighters, and so many others. Our first African-American President deliverers a powerful, yet thoughtful speech that touches on not only African Americans, Latinos Americans, Native Americans and others while also acknowledging White Americans as well. He boldly stated that we must be the Change we want to see. If it was not for those who came before him he would not be the 44th President of the United States today.

He gives shouts out to Lebron James, a basketball player and Lil Wayne, a rapper(for those who don't know who they are) awesome for our President to be in the know, about what young people are into in today's times. He goes on to say yes you can become rappers, and basketball players, but don't forget to become scientists, mathematicians, teachers, and even President of the United States, and how far we have come and yet how far we have to go.

He spoke about his recent trip to the Motherland, Ghana, where Africans were sold into slavery and how important is was to have his whole family there to bear witness the door of no return.

President Obama said "We need a new set of goals, and a new mindset in this country, in order to move forward!

Today we lost "The King of Pop". As I was sitting down to turn on the television, a crackling sound of thunder roared as rain continued to pound on my window pane. It had been raining all day, today. I turn on the television to CNN: "Breaking NEWS: Michael Jackson, died of cardiac arrest. I am in shock. I am dismayed. Lily Thomas said on her Twitter page: "No F***** Way"! my sentiments exactly. Michael Jackson was just rehearsing for his last and final tour.

Thank you Michael, for all the music and dance moves you gave us! Hey young world, for those who's not in the know, you will never see another entertainer quiet like Michael Jackson ever again! God only makes originals. God works in three's.

We lost Ed McMahon, earlier this week, today we lost Farrah Fawcett and now Michael Jackson. Tomorrow is guarantee to NO one. Do you know Jesus?

Friday, February 27, 2009 the Rocky Mountain News is no more. Today is a very sad day not only for the editors who have written for the The Rocky Mountain News for years, but for the readers and residents of Denver, Colorado. The diverse attributes that readers get from having more then one paper is very important. It's important to the culture, to the livihood of the staff as well as for the people of Denver. More people don't venture out of their comfort zone, that's when the Rocky News Mountain News comes in to take you to places you never dreamed of. Who could have imaged that this would happen? I mean yes, it's the 21st Century there's the internet, blogs like this one, but to say Denver, CO cannot manage two newspaper is just a simple excuse of giving up.

It's so hard, to say goodbye to yesterday.

Shame, Shame is the Name of New York Post's Cartoonist Game!

It's 2009 and this is the best that the New York Post can come up with? Really? How in God's name do you even justify as the Editor of the paper to post something like this? Or is it that the true colors of the New York Post is finally revealing itself? Or is it just another Rupert Murdoch's production?

In a time when newspapers are struggling to do it's best to increase readership, please don't tell me this is your way of doing so New York Post. Racism is clearly alive and well at the Post and in America as well. During a speech marking Black History Month, Attorney General Eric Holder called the U.S. a "Nation of Cowards" he was right on point with his statement. It's cowards like that, who have to use hate and racism to get publicity, or to prove their point.

Maybe that's why blogs like this one and others are attracting more and more readers daily. Our blogs, are and sometimes may, be very opinionated, but most of us bloggers will respect the other point of view. Yes, there is freedom of speech in this country, but is this what Sean Delonas(the cartoonist) wanted to portray? Clearly the answer is a resounding...Yes!

Nonetheless, when a newspaper who has been in business for over 100 years and is well known, to the racist links that racist people have used in comparing people of color with images of monkeys and chimpanzees and to compare to our 44th President of the United States, is just inflammatory.

During these economic times, to say, or allow racist imagery, or allow damaging sediments clearly states to me you don't need or want readership. So until the New York Post can give a 100% sincere apology, because the one they gave today(click here)sounded more like a un-trained youth making up an excuse that they allowed the cartoon to run in the first place. I recommend all not to buy, support, or read the New York Post, hard copy, soft copy or online copy. No love lost here, I have always been a NY Times Type of Girl anyway.

God doesn't like ugly and neither do I.

The Inauguration for the 44th President of the United States of America

Today, January 20, 2009 our President elect Barack Obama will become the 44Th President, of the United States of America. The Library of Congress has allowed the Inaugural Committee to use the same Bible that President Abraham Lincoln was sworn in on.

Presidential Inaugural Committee Executive Director Emmett Beliveau stated "President-elect Obama is deeply honored that the Library of Congress has made the Lincoln Bible available for use during his swearing-in".

President Abraham Lincoln was the United States 16th president and sworn in during the year 1861. As you know how God loves numbers and so do I, 16 breaks down 1+6= 7, 7 represents completion, 1861 the year in which Abraham Lincoln became President 1+8+6+1 equals 7 as well.

May this day renew hope in you and America and everybody in the world for that matter, that Yes We Can, Yes We Did and Yes We will. God Bless you.

Yes, We Can! Yes, We Did! Thank you America for voting for change, for standing up and renewing the hope that United We Stand, Divide We Fall. The victory we gained tonight, November 4, 2008, brings a new hope that everyone of us is responsible for the way we treat each other, the way we handle our business personal and professional as our newly elected President Barack Obama said at the historical DNC in Denver, CO, "American We Can Not Turn Back" and we truly can not.

America, please know that the world awaits how we handle this new America. Let freedom ring and let us begin with this "newness" with peace, prosperity and justice for all. Thank you for all the wonderful people I met from around this country who volunteer their time, who donated to this campaign and so much more. This blog, my youtube videos were all created based off our newly elected President Barack Obama who had the "Audacity" to have hope; so that I awoke and now I know we not going up in smoke! Let me clear my throat!!

I am more than happy, I am humbled, I feel thankfully that God allow me, we, us, to be alive at this time and this moment to experience this greatness. It's time for change, it's time to bring our troops back home, it's time to take care of All Americans no matter their race, gender, or political affiliations or cultural background.

It's was twelve days ago, when Senator Barack Obama accepted his party's nomination for the President of the United States of America, at the historical 2008 Democratic National Convention, in Denver, CO. There it was, a moment of history on so many levels. Senator Barack Obama being the first African-American to secure and accept his party's nomination; then there was the fact, it just so happen to be on the exact day, 45 years later when the great, late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. gave his famous "I Have A Dream" speech. It was also, the 88th year in the same month that women in this country was granted the Right To Vote, when the 19th amendment was approved. Also, it was Denver, Colorado's centennial for hosting the Democratic National Party, the last convention held in Denver, CO was in 1908.

It was 40 years ago, when another senator by the name of John F. Kennedy(the 35th U.S. President) held a public convention. Both conventions were held in the Western States of California and Colorado. Furthermore, when Senator Barack Obama becomes the next President of the United States, it will make him the 44th U.S. President. Needless, to say 4+4 equals "8", eight represents "New Beginnings"did you also note that JFK's was our 35th U.S. President, 3+5 equals "8". Our Father who art in Heaven, is so much into numbers he dedicated a whole book to it..."Numbers" in the Old Testament. This is God speaking. Refer to this passages: Number 1: and Ecclesiastes 3:1

C. Matthews and K. Olbermann, Political Anchors get demoted

Once again it's clear...speak about your political views even if it's your job to do so on any major network especially when the elephants are in the room(or in hearing distances, you know they have big ears) and something negative will happen! The only two reasons that most Americans including myself watch that network are because of Chris and Keith. They have always been true to their political and all other views for that matter, regardless if you agreed with them or not.

The reason for the demotions of Mr. Matthews and Mr. Olbermann was clearly not of course which they stated, it really started when Keith and Chris was covering the DNC in Denver, CO for MSNBC right after Michelle Obama spoke at the Pepsi Center. It was vividly clear. Mrs. Obama could and should be our next first lady. I watched both Keith and Chris become emotional. I mean the kind that most men would hide, especially in front of millions of viewers, and reporting for a right-winged network.

Michelle Obama would not and could not be denied. It was clear to all, that watched, listen whole heartily that she spoke so eloquently, intelligently and emotionally that even the critics could not criticize her speech. It became the defining moment of the DNC that set the tone, on the first day of the DNC; that this is her destiny, to be the next First Lady of the United States of America.
